Featured Whodunnit - politically incorrect maker's stamp

    I found a vase on the shelf in the Ill Will this week. It was sitting on a shelf by itself, looking better than what they usually get. Looked at the bottom, and no it wasn't plated just weighted. But only the base. It weighs over a pound; I'm not sure how much of that is wax or cement. But, who did it? The mark is a G inside of a whirling log. It's spinning the other way as it were, but some folks don't know the difference. @MrNate might know this one.

    Yep, twisted and stirred. It's cool enough in here that you won't get that infamous teapot shot. Well, ever. Somebody polished things up a lot before I found it.

    Thanks. I should have thought to look there. Actually I did, but wanted to see if we couldn't smoke Mr Nate out.

    A vintage holder; I use it to take pictures with. That one has some minor damage IIRC but it's useful for holding stuff.

    I'd say more mistreated, but whatever.

    I finally managed to be in two places at once! All eqivalancies to the teapot shot end there however; I was wearing a fleece jacket over a sweatshirt. (LOL) Even Superman would have a tough time seeing through that outfit!

    Coool COOOL piece! Sorry I missed your tag evelyb30, right now my schedule is to peek the site every 3-4 days to check out new posts so I was late to the party. I'm happy to see kiko found the maker; that's a makers mark I haven't come across. I'm flattered when you tag me to solve something, and I will continue to try my best to figure out 'whodunnit' but I honestly still consider myself a 'newbie' at silver knowledge compared to some on this site. ;) ;) ;) PS Merry Christmas!
