    Hello and welcome.
It would be good to start a new thread with your demand so this one can stay on track.

Not sure what you mean. Is there an expiration or limit to the number of contributions?

no, it's just that threads can meander...and it's easier to find your own thread.....than trying to remember what other thread it was opened in the middle of...

    I found this:
    http://www.aaxsf.com/product/miniature-thonet-round-table-circa-austria-1900/

Do you think is close enough to identify?

The attached feet are on one pic but not the other. I guess they could have mixed the construction maybe? The screws and construction of the table I posted definitely look antique at least to me. Thanks for the tips I will dig in further. But feel free to chime in. :)

Whit my answer coming right after it, I thought it was clear...
Didn't pay attention it would come on a different page...
But I learned about the "reply" button, much easier then the "quote"option!;)

Did those have glossy or satin finishes? My table is matte
The second Link I posted is very close to the OP except in color and finish.

hello lucy...i have only just responded to a question similar to your query , but was for a chair......your table is generically referred to as an Austrian bentwood table and was a precursor to IKEA flatpack do it yourself and was delivered from suppliers in Austria unassembled......though no allen key used on this one .two manufacturers of these products i can remember are Thonet and the other was Kohn...these items were made from steam bent beech timber, usually supplied with laminated/ ply timber top, often replaced later with marble. they were finished in a black japan varnish circa 1880,,,,,yours shows a nice mellow faded finish regards ....pewter2

    Hi Pewter2
Thank you for the information. However I am not clear if it is an original? And from what time period. Sorry just getting started with furniture.
    Regards
    Lucy

It has 3 splits on the top. Not severe but noticeable. Does that make it undesirable or is it expected bracsub of it's age.

    Thank you. :)

Splits do affect value significantly. Do not make it worthless.

I am sorry but the long article did not produce evedince of age. Can you narrow it down to specific detdeta to support your evaluation.

    Thank you in advance.
