    Way cool! Well, @springfld.arsenal & his contacts were on the right track from the get-go. Fiddly Bits mentions a little hook that goes around the needle the one demonstrated 'seems to have lost' that yours seems to have. But yours seems to be missing the sliding piece to set the distance between tucks. Have to look at it again - can't remember anywhere it could be screwed down to hold it in place. Maybe the machine model it went with had some built in way of holding various attachments.
