Featured Chinese Snuff Bottles, cameo, carved, and.....

Thanks Mat. For some reason the link takes me back to this page, is there another way to access it? I went to http://snuffbottlecollector.com/ but they don't have the usual search options.

 

I started collecting in the late 70s, my mother already had some snuff bottles, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
They are all miniature works of art, and with a collection you can have small examples of different Chinese styles and techniques without having to add ten extra wings to your house. Because of my love for (gem)stones, the focus is on stone snuff bottles. But I just fall in love with so many other little beauties, if the price is right, they are welcome.
Are you feeling better, by the way? I forgot to ask before.

Thanks, that clarifies it. As it says, the walls of the glass are extremely thin, I mostly keep it in the satin lined brocade box it came in, for fear of breaking it.
