I like restoring/refinishing wood furniture. My next project is this double drop leaf gate leg. It has a drawer and hutch on one end and a double shelf hutch on other. Table is very solid, not laminated. All the hardware matches and appears to be brass. Screws are all flathead and dull pointed, which makes me think pre 1930 possibly. Folded dimensions 36" and 14" open 62" and 14" 30" high.
No manufacturing marks. Appears to never having been refinished. I have not been able to find any references to anything similar. Before I make a big mistake refinishing it. Any ideas on time line, manufacturer and value. Should I refinish it ? Tks. IMG_0639.JPG IMG_0641.JPG IMG_0639.JPG IMG_0641.JPG

It's a very useful 30s or so table, well made. Not high value, so you're not destroying a money treasure. I'd go for it.
