Old looking cast iron pot with lid

Does anyone recognize this type of pot ? No markings anywhere.

Yes Thank You..I'm wondering who made these with this type of lid, with all those ribs or whatever you call them.

 

These were made by numerous company's with Griswold being one of the most collectable, the lid bumps would have allowed condensation to drip back into the pot as whatever you were cooking stewed. I would describe it as a stew pot. If you clean off the bottom there may be faint markings (I use oven cleaner) Is there a raised bump around the bottom if so it would be an older style.

My mom called hers a 'chicken fryer'.

 

Looks like a fry pan with a dutch oven lid.

 

Chicken (frying) skillet.

The lid is probably correct. Dutch oven lids usually don't have the pour tabs.

I'd expect a mark under the bottom char.

 

You're correct. I missed the tabs.

The pattern of the basting tabs on the lid looks like Wagner
