Any info on this small compass

Hello everyone iam trying to find out some info on this small compass which I believe is Vietnam era but trying to figure out what it was attached to and what the marking on the back means thanks for any info.

 

Possibly a watch fob IMHO.

 

The numbers look military but not at all certain. Perhaps @Shangas can help you.

 

Interesting that it has a radiation warning symbol on the back.

Well close but not quite. This one has no allowance to place it on a strap. I wonder if it is made by Seiko also?

Actually that was just a Google image page. It is Vietnam era and that link shows a very rare Seiko wristwatch issued to Special Forces with a compass like this mounted in tandem on the band. They refer to the compass as a WCC wrist compass. The whole unit is described as "SPECIAL FORCES SOG CISO ISSUED SEIKO WATCH".

 

Possibly contains tritium to make face glow in the dark...i think.

It does glow in the dark never thought to check that. Wow I wonder how it went on a watch the one in the link I can see but this one with the little loop nothing looks broken off on the compass and the loop looks original. ???
