    Yes, period tables like these which are similar to the draw leafs tend to be quite massive pieces and without a means to take apart with bolts or pegged tenons you couldn't get them in a room.
    I picked this one because of the thickness of the top, 2.5 inches! YIKES! I'd hate to have to carry that very far! If it's oak that top alone would weigh at least 300-400lbs!

    Yikes is right. I appreciate your showing this one, because it goes to the reason that after hundreds of years, there is no sag in the middle. One wonders though about the shipping cost for such a piece!

    No, not even a little bit.
    This furniture just sits there like a monolith, invulnerable to everything except fire & insects.
