    Hey Mohammad H,
glad they still appreciate this kind of furniture in Jordany, over here (Belgium)it can be found very cheap. Price for this kind of furniture collapsed a few decennial ago. They went from 2.500 to 0 in no time. I can bring up a example of two extremely seldom seen cupboards (related to the printing industry) sold for 12.500 euro in the '80 ties, a friend of mine liked them but couldn't afford them, he recently tracked them down and got them for 1000 euro (500/ a cupboard!). The guy who bought them back then was moving to a retirement home....
Like stated before you got a mix of Belgian and French furniture.
The wall plate withe anchor looks British to me judging by the crown.

Sorry, just checked your pictures again and noticed none are Belgian.
They are all French, Breton like stated by the colleague and Henri II for the other one (with tusk's).

I was wondering about that, because Belgian carving is usually more softly tactile (I know, a higly technical term:)), probably because of the use of woods like oak.
French makes more sense to me.
Sad that good craftsmanship is not appreciated in these Ikea times, but I believe there is still a market for French provincial in several parts of the world.

Oh thanks.. yes most are French but the arimore is Italian as what I know .. the 2 wall heads are Belgian.. so i understand that the Belgian is better than the French??

Thanks a lot .. yes unfortunately it's an ikea times .. I'm deeply in love with European antiques.. not only furniture but also swords.. Knights.. extra .. I bought this from a store in dubai .. it's rare in the middle east (the Renaissance furniture) .. the store was shut down in dubai because this kind of furniture is not really popular.. I think also because of some cross and Christians signs on the furniture... also angels and some naked womens figures .. makes this furniture more wanted in non Muslims countries more than the middle east.. as for me I bought because it's still a piece of history... art ... also old and unique furniture here ..
To be honest I face some difficulties as this kind of furniture can't goes totally with the other nowadays furniture.. I don't what kind of sofas goes with.. also I don't know what to put in the cabients or how to decorate the buffet because as I said here we don't have the culture of this furniture.. yet I'm really really happy for getting this items .. and consider it one of the most wonderful things I did in my life ..
So i hope from this respected forum to learn me more about the origins of my furniture .. how to set it with other furniture.. how to decorate it .. clean it .. as I don't know a lot to be honest
    Thanks
    Mohammad

Amman, including to the wonderful mosque, Jerash, Wadi Rum, then down the Kings Highway to Petra, which is glorious. Oh, and the Dead Sea and Kerak. Loved it.The food was superb and the people delightful. I need to go again!

Hi and thanks for the explanation.. I was told about the small cabient with the angelic that I showed.. that it's Italian made ..
The Belgian is more expensive than the French.. I noticed that in the store .. but don't know if better or not

It depends. If you like it more, it's better. I live in Connecticut, between Boston and New York. This sort of furniture is not appreciated here either. They would however like the women with no clothes.
