I apologize for posting so many different types of pieces. Wondering if there's any value and possibly the age. I'll be adding more photos ran out of space

    1) Chinese plate (Buddhist endless knot symbol)

    2)Asian cup ( lotus flower)

    3) Phoenix vase

    4) purple vase ( I think it's flambé)

    5) multi colored vase

    6)bronze box

#5 does not look Asian. Maybe US
#7 Celadon - picture of bottom looks newer

Hi thanks for your reply, I agree I don't think #5 is asian. Maybe someone might be able to give me some insight on it.

#2 is a Kutani mark (upside down in this picture) - Japanese - more recent I think.

Thanks for numbering them @clutteredcloset49 , I never know where to start when there is an overload.
    Agree with the above.
    #3 looks Southeast Asian.
#4 could be studio pottery, like #5.
The brass box looks like a recent repro betel leaf box. India or Thailand.

I have a hard time when things can't be referenced.

I agree that #4 is studio pottery.

However, I think #5 is one of the American pottery companies from the early 1900s. I just don't know who.

So do I. With ADD an overload causes brainfreeze anyway, or Stendhal.....:wacky:
I am grateful you always make the effort to number or categorize posts, it really helps.

I am so glad I was in school during the 1950s/60s. Otherwise I would have been labeled ADD and put into special ed.
Didn't realize that was my problem until I watched a special on Adult ADD. Probably explains the hoarding mess as well.

Learning to make a formal outline of things was my salvation and way to organize.

Here only ADHD children are sometimes put in special ed. ADD kids are left to their own devices, probably because they aren't disruptive, they usually just sit quietly in a corner and dream away. I know I did.

    My teachers would have disagreed.
I spent a lot of time outside the classroom looking in. What they call Time Outs now.

My niece has that kind of ADD, much more like ADHD than the rest of us (it runs in our family). She was diagnosed with ADD, but could never stop talking, laughing, etc. She even kept on talking in her sleep.:D
