More of my Saturday purchases..I need all the info you can provide. Item cost me $3.99 plus tax at a local thrift store. It is interesting to me that it would end up there. I like it and i would like to know the age and name of item. If you can translate the writing I will give you bonus appreciation. A sincere Thanks, in advance. P.s. The innards look like some of our image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg samovars do.

It seems to be atleast a few times used since it has the white ash in the middle pipe

Asian steamboat/hotpot, missing a lid. Looks Chinese to me, but they are used in China, Mongolia, Korea, Singapore, and I'm sure I am missing some.

    Ok....
I did some research and find....... it is interesting.
It does a Chinese made hot pot, with chinese handwriting.
But it is exported to Korean for Korean cuisine.
The three chinese handwriting is "南大门" - "south great gate", which can also be translated into Korean "남대문" - "Namdaemun Gate". There is a famous place to enjoy nice and delicious korean hot pot.
Please see the photo of this Namdaemun Gate, it is exactly the same as the picture on the hot pot.
