Antique egg

    How tall is it? Does the top half of the egg come off, and if so, is it hollow inside? Might help to take a picture of the bottom as well.

    And here I was expecting a tiny carriage inside it, with wheels that spin and doors and open and shut. And it'd be made of 18kt gold with sapphire windows and ruby seat-cushions...

    An antique is generally something 100 years old or older. This year, it would date to 1918. This would be considered Vintage...whatever year it was made. 70s or 80s. Just so you can keep that in mind going forward.
