Help with monogram and general info please

Hi guys, another £1 charity shop find here, I thought it was a print but having removed from frame to me it looks like an original, though I can't be sure, there seems to be a lot of texture but the style almost looks engraved still with the sort of "scratched" look? What medium do you think this is?

Also I think the signature is "M H Long" but in bottom left there is a monogram, what would it suggest that this is a work by more than 1 artist (again leading me to think it could be engraved), it just doesn't seem like a normal engraving somehow?

Any thoughts on any of this is appreciated thanks!

 

Is that a tiny "remarque" in the margin, lower right?

The signature in the grass (lower right) looks like Mc H Lord to me. I wonder whether the FB monogram could be an engraver?

 

Here are "watercolors" signed M.H. Long with similar initials. They say "after Miles Birket Foster" so I'm wondering if the BF monogram is Birket Foster.

I also found a "chromolithograph" that is the same scene as one of the "watercolors" and is described in a similar way so they may all be prints.

Here is a print that shows M H Long Lith, so I checked and found info on Long as a lithographer by the British Museum.

Thanks for the replies guys! So I'm none the wiser if this is a lithograph or not, do they have texture to them? Either way if it is it could be worth $12 or $4900 from those links lol

 

I'd guess chromo with that wear along the edge. I don't think you'd see wear like that on a watercolor.

So most definitely a chromolithograph by M H Long, reading on the technique so much work must have gone in to it, definitely worth £1 anyway! Thanks for all the help again guys.
