Mystery Necklace from Antique Shop 80's

    Greetings....I have purchased this necklaces below in an antique shop in the late 80's...I've had it since then...always receive so many compliments on it. I would like to know a little more information about it, as the maker, alloy, etc. I have tested it with a magnet, the chain part only attracts and not the rest of the necklace, it is light in weight....appreciate any information you can share.

    The texture looks like it has fused/sintered filings added to it.

    It could have been done by any number of companies in the USA or Europe. I think it's American, but beyond that haven't a clue.
