Hi, not exactly jewellery but I acquired this lighter recently and having a job valuing it. Every time I go to the site to put the serial number in I get diverted to a scam site telling me that I have won a prize. Can anyone enlighten me?
    Number is T6. DSC_0385.JPG DSC_0387.JPG EG 70

The Tour Maine-Montparnasse opened in 1973. Packaging looks right for the 1970s. Gold or gold plated? (Big difference in value.)

Thanks Deborah, it's very heavy at 3.6 ounces and this is one thing that the serial number will confirm, also whether it is line one or line two. Not sure if that is the model series. I will have to try again on their website. Will decifer the number and post again if possible.

Your close-up photograph is out of focus. As a courtesy, you might want to retake and repost. And nothing in the accompanying materials provides a description or additional information?

Thanks again Debora, from the information you provided, it is a line 2, the larger one and is the gas option (not petrol). I have emailed the official service people with the serial number for any further details. (if they get back). BTW a service costs from £60.!
Trying to upload better photos but files are too large. Thanks again.
