    Holy guacamole. Indian?

The probable amber necklace I found Saturday. Double-ended ombre pattern. It has a toggle clasp, but with a triple loop so you can change the length. Whoever made this knew their stuff. The stabilizer bars, or whatever they call them, that keep the bead strands in place are amber too.

Picked just now, six Steiff animals with buttons and tags from varying eras. Three cats, two dogs and an owl for $18.99+.

When I lived in Germany I would buy them every time I went to a flea market, usually .50 pfennig to a d-mark. By the time I came back to the States I had over 300. I worked for an American airline so they shipped back in company boxes without having to going through customs.

Smaller piece of Indian silver today, £5 from a charity shop. Apparently four people had already looked at it and passed. Seems like madness.

Someone was NOT paying attention. Five quid? Wish I could find some at any price; it doesn't turn up in the States except at silly money prices.
