    Hello,

Thank you in advance for the help! :)

I'm trying to determine what's going on with these two buttons.

First one I was told is fraternal (santa looking guy)

The Second confuses me, as I thought it may have been an actor or something, but now I'm thinking Child labor movement?

    Any help would be appreciated!

The first one is Mokanna, symbol of the Masonic 'Grotto' (M.O.V.P.E.R. - Mystic Order of the Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm). Wasn't unusual to make celluloid pin-backs from portraits - the second may be, as you thought, just a child in costume...

The kid COULD be Jackie Coogan, AKA Uncle Fester (much later in life).

I bet you are right, Don! All I could think of was Jackie Cooper in his roles and knew it wasn't him. I forgot about Jackie **Coogan** and his roles such as The Kid with Charlie Chaplin. The pics of him from The Kid shows him as a ragamuffin, but usually with his hat askewed and usually wearing a loose turtleneck type sweater, but still believe it is Coogan. I think the pic is of him in Oliver Twist. Pics of him from that movie show him as a ragamuffin also, but wearing an open collar shirt and a hat straight as portrayed in this pic.

That Jackie Coogan certainly had an interesting life. Not only was he a legendary child star who was more or less discovered by Charlie Chaplin, but also a glider pilot turning the WWII who flew Wingate's Chindits into Burma behind the Japanese lines, was married 4 times with the first being Betty Grable, was probably in close to 50 movies having lead roles in many from the 1920s, played a multitude of guest appearances on TV, and as you pointed out as Uncle Festus in the Addams Family
