That was a play on words combining the ‘fellow’ (feller) and the aircraft manufacturer while also covering that four letter word also ending in ‘er’.

Back in the old days when we participated at antique fairs, when everything was in place and ready to open we gave a little bump to the frame that hung at the most central place. Because it was awry it all ready draw the attention...selling it was no big effort anymore.... ;-)

 

Just saw an advertisement for a vintage brooch on Ebay that described it as "distressed". Kind of clever what with distressed furniture etc., being in vogue, "distressed" almost reads as a positive.

yeah before i added the wings and tail it was just a guy on a green (2x 4) stick chopping wood with a propeller to make his axe go up and down . but the propeller broke off a few years ago ,made a squeaking noise anyways , drove me nuts in the morning ,as i could hear it on the baby monitor i keep outside .
