Walter Plunkett costume sketch: trying to id actress and movie

I didn't find a photo from that exact scene, but it certainly makes sense for it to be from that film. I did find this page about her co-star Robert Walker that shows several of her dresses from that film.

And I just re-read the original post that notes that it says "Black jacket instead of red" -- so could it be the same outfit as in the first image of the page I just linked?

 

It's awfully hard to see much about her outfit in that picture (other that the high V neck) but that's not the same headgear (snood, turban, whatever you call it) as the sketch.

 

Right, I noticed it isn't the same headgear. But we'd have to see the film to really see what she actually wore. It appears to be on YouTube, by the way... the entire film.

 

I guess I was just agreeing that the clothing styles look very much the same, and to me it seems quite probable.

 

Yup. I saw that. Don't have time right now. I'm decorating my tree and watching the Seahawks game while I type.
