Found a single sterling candle holder at the thrift store last Wednesday. I figured they most likely got a pair donated. The other didn't come out Thursday. Not there Friday. Didn't have a chance to check Saturday, Sunday or Monday. No stocking Tuesday but not there then either. The other showed up on the shelf today.

My daughter bought this for me at the thrift. Not antique but worth about $150.00 or so. She paid 5 bucks

Okay, so I was going to venture out today, but the Great Northeast is in deep freeze mode (currently 15 degrees), and I can't risk getting sick.....so I don't know if I posted these, from the last time I went out.....staying in today and watching a Law and Order Criminal Intent marathon, the ones starring Jeff Goldblum.

These are ivory, found in an antique mall for $12.

This was also an antique mall purchase, this is the largest brooch I own now at almost 4" across. I am showing a picture on my coat lapel to show size.... looks like a big snowflake to me, appropriate for the weather.

I went out again today, why I don't know. Spent a whole dollar in the Ill Will on a Kristkindlemarkt gluhwein mug from Vienna. It's awfully new, but whatever. It went "up" to about 10 Farenheit here today; the thermometer was at about -15C when I left the house. Even the local squirrels took one look at the thermometer and stayed home, but I'm nuts. (*rimshot*)
