Is this carved leaf jade?

    Again sorry for the pics.
    Was wondering if this is jade and if so possible what type.
    It's actually a gray green 1 3/4" long

    I'm not sure what type of stone it is.
    But the gift shows I go to usually have vendors from China with this type of thing.
    Notice the carving is very minimal. They usually wholesale for $2-8 depending on size and detail. I've retailed them for $4-10. I usually don't pay more than $5 at the shows for them.
    Put a good size jump ring on it so it can be hung from a necklace.

    That's generally my first impulse too. It wants to be jade, but no self-respecting Chinese would allow a piece out of his factory with carving that rudimentary. Jade generally gets more respect.
