    Lovely, Chris. Always love amber.
Can you post photos of the marks? That helps with dating.
The earrings are probably Polish, pretty recent, still being made.
The pendant between the 80s and now, I'd say India or Indonesia.
The ring could be a bit older, but that style is also still being made.

The first two are modern and use reconstituted amber. That's the earrings and pendant. Ring is more worn, so mght be slightly older.

The amber in the pendant certainly looks reconstituted/pressed.
Not so sure about the earrings, could be genuine amber. Can't see unnatural spangles, maybe a detailed pic would help.
The amber in the ring also looks reconstituted/pressed to me, or maybe even an artificial resin. With China manufacturing so much 'vintage' jewellery, I tend to doubt this style, especially in combination with amber. The first photo is a bit dark, but it looks like there are unnatural spangles.

Chris, here is info on amber testing:

Like everyone else said, there's no real age on these. I suspect "vintage last week". The earrings and pendant look like they were made by someone who cared.

It is my understanding that any genuine amber pieces with insects trapped in them bring very high prices and the likelihood of finding them in inexpensive modern settings is slim. I went down that rabbit hole years ago because I thought owning such a piece would be fascinating but abandoned the idea eventually.

I have some raw pieces with insects, the collectors call it "With Insect Inclusion"
40 million years old, give or take a year or two.

Thanls guys appreciate all comments and expertise. I purchase this jewellery knowing I can return it so will be doing that today. They were 25 dollars each so will spend that on something a bit more original. Cheers chris

The necklace is worth a bit more than that, the earrings not so much.

    Lovely bugs, davey.

And of course the Chinese are faking those too nowadays. Some in very inexpensive bad cloisonné settings, which they often manage to sell for too much.

My mother had amber earrings with mosquito inclusions, bought in Denmark in the 60s. When I got her jewellery I looked for them and couldn't find them. A lot 'disappeared' during her last few years. I will probably see them on someone else some day.....

That happens. Good old stuff has a habit of turning up again. Odds are by now the current owner has no idea they were stolen at some point.
