If I had that elevator marker I’d find and buy, or make, an arrow then mount both above a bathroom door. :)

At that size, they were most likely described as stemmed bon-bon dishes, though they might also been combined in a set with tiny matching individual almond dishes, then becoming large almond dishes. The piercing is decorative...

    Recent Purchases:

Merck Pharmacy Sign - You may have seen my other thread. I was able to examine this piece in person and it is no doubt a period piece with all of the proper manufacturer labels and appropriate wear on the back. Very good condition compared to some other similar signs I've found online when researching prices.

Dr. Daniels Gall Salve Tin - Thought that this tin was neat. Also picked up a bunch of old drug store bottles that I'm going to need to research more.

1879-S Morgan Silver Dollar - Liked the appearance of this coin

I’m sure there are NOS signs out there in old warehouses, long closed businesses, basements, garages and attics. They became useless because of updates, their salesman quit or was fired. Many other things exist in this manner and it sure is fun to find them. :)

Looks as though he was also using it as pomade & mustache wax. Dr. Daniels' all-purpose product.

Just getting round to dealing with our early December horde of auction buys. Mostly sorting through the old blue and white at the moment but we hadn't packed these away so decided to list them. VERY pleased to have got these Gefle Zebra teapot, trios and cream jug!
