    Hi,
1st off, sorry. I wasn't sure what forum to list modern toys under.

Does anyone know if this is a Hotwheels or Matchbox truck and what the year and series is? All that is marked on the bottom is "Made in Hong Kong." IMG_20201207_030358.jpg IMG_20201207_030423.jpg IMG_20201207_030254.jpg IMG_20201207_030510 (1).jpg IMG_20201207_030327 (1).jpg

This is a die cast toy. In my very limited experience, die cast cars and trucks have the name of the series and/or the manufacturer cast into the metal and clearly visible on the bottom. I suspect that if this has no such marking, it's some generic, no-name brand.

It's older than 1997, which is when HK was handed back. Hotwheels, Matchbox and Corgi all put their names on the base, so none of them.
