2 new watercolors--artist?

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased 2 new watercolors. I bought them in Phoenix if that is helpful (however the owners had artist from around Europe. I believe they are both by the same artist. I would appreciate any help finding out the name of the artist. Thank you in advance for any comments and/or information! Happy Holidays!!!

Last name looks like Roth. HK Roth maybe?

 

Attributing these kinds of watercolors can be challenging, Darryl. Likely the work of a talented local artist and the locality isn't, of course, Phoenix. They do look American though. If you haven't done so already, you may want to open up the backs to see if you can find more information.

Yes, it was. Unfortunately, don't think you'll be able to get much further -- either with identify of artist or location of landscapes.
