Nice! Any idea where the indicator is from?
You may be able to find an acceptable arrow on its own.

Thanks. You mean, other than a four story building with at least one elevator? No. ;)

Quirkygirl, now if only you had also found the little round seat which was held in place (bolted to the wall) and which was lowered so that the elevator operator could sit down and work the door.

"Third floor, please" when entering the elevator. "Thank you, ma'am" when exiting the elevator. Ah, the memories. ;)

    Yes!
    I recall those guys! :)
What came to me instantly was Bambergers Newark, NJ. :)
Probably had them in NYC’s: Macy’s, Gimbels, Bloomingdales, etc. too as I was in them all, a lot, in the 50s and early 60s.

Follow up from THE Hurst item collector, who has both the silver and gold version, is that he estimates $3-500. :)

I thought I was headed to a cleanout/tag/estate sale this morning, only to be ghosted when I got there. Oh well. There was a GoodWill about a mile up the road. $30 later.... No pictures yet, but I found a Portuguese silver bracelet, a Silpada necklace (silver and stones) and some earrings I have to investigate.

The earrings are sterling, but they're threaded. I always buy screw threaded earrings on general principle since they're bound to be good quality.

Another Ebay find for me. A Welz Scalloped Fan Vase (I don't think the decor has a name) I probably wont get this in time for Christmas, so it looks like I have an early start on next years Christmas shopping :)
