I have this Antique item which I believe is called an amulet.
Does anyone know anything about these items .
I've seen a few on internet and they look quite rare some of them.
I believe this is called Isis and with baby Horus.
Just not too sure what it's made from . Looks like stone ware.
    Some pics attached
    Thank you for any help

I think it's an Egyptian faience statue of Isis nursing Horus. No idea of age but there are an awful lot of reproductions.

Museums often sold replicas in their gift shops.

The King Tut exhibit was responsible for a lot of those replica pieces, worldwide. Egyptian themed items were red hot in the 1920s too, and with faience it's hard to pin down exactly when something was made. The really old pieces you can usually spot, but newer ones? I always assume newer until proven otherwise.

An amulet is usually something that can be worn or carried on the person. This looks like a statuette.

It is in the style of Egyptian faience, but something about the color and distribution of the glaze looks off to me. Most true Egyptian faience is self-glazing - meaning the materials which form the glaze are present in the body of the paste, and the glaze forms during the firing process. "Most ancient faience objects have glaze covering their entire surface, and most show no traces that indicate how they were supported in the kiln during firing." The technique and materials produce a translucent but more matte, evenly colored surface. Your piece looks more like a modern glaze applied to a clay body, particularly in the way that it has run across the bottom of the figure.
