Does anyone know what this is? I got it today at a family estate sale.
Can you tell me what age, tribe etc.

    Thank You

Probably not what you want to hear, but this is a traditional style strainer from the Philippines. They've been imported for years, so determining age is difficult, and probably not significant, since these are regularly found in thrift shops and the like, generally in the $.99 to $3.00 range.

If you want a reference, this identical basket is shown on page 93 of The Techniques of Basketry by Virginia I. Harvey. The caption says: "A strainer from the Laguna Province of Luzon, the Philippines. Wide spokes were shaped to fit the weave, and a forked wooden branch makes a very sturdy handle, which is held firmly by the braidlike edge. It's okay, as long as I get a reply it's all good.
