Definitely porcelain, but I'm assuming this came out of a studio somewhere as it is unmarked. Any ideas where? Also, anyone recognize what type of shell this is meant to be?

    5 inches(12cm) wide, about 4 inches height.

I JUST saw one of these in white and it had a sticker but I cant remember what it said ! I looked at it because the shape reminded me of something from the sea.

@johnnycb09 Since you said you saw one very recently in white with a sticker - I figured maybe it's a new item - and started looking on Google Shopping links...maybe Global Views? Does that ring a bell as far as what was on the sticker?

Haven't found the exact one as mine, but similar ones under "sea star" vases and "kelp vases" etc...

Side note - some of the Global Views items are downright expensive!

I think you were close with starfruit, although this has 6 petals, star fruit has 5, but otherwise pretty darn close.

EDIT: hey look, Global Views has star fruit vases! :)

Definitely a sibling to mine! But...that listing is very confusing...I think the seller resells items from many different decor manufacturers from what i can tell. If I google Craftscmq Vase - the only result is that listing - I don't think that's the brand name or the name of the manufacturer?

Yeah...definitely some other things out there tagged as "Craftscmq"...
That being said, as Johnny found one same as mine with a Margaret Furlong label on it - I would assume it's a Margaret Furlong piece. Their website has a list of their historical production pieces, I haven't found anything that sounds like an exact match but they did/do have a collection of housewares called "Under the Wave"...maybe it was part of that collection.
