Dobre Utra to all of you once again....
Here is my last acquisition....100% Soviet 50/60 ....
Yes,You have been right on those unsigned Russian or Soviet paintings....They have not been done by masters...But They have all something which have attracted me to buy....Very Very Very Cheap....So..Will keep them for a wee wile until I 'll decide to frame..Keep..Or Sell.....
This last one...(I promise...) Remind me a place in Basque Country where I used to fish frogs when I was very young...Called Chiberta Forest in Anglet.....
    Anyway....
Find it a little too much in green color....But not so badly done....Of course unsigned...
    But some life in this painting...Dim:59x38cm 001.JPG 002.JPG 003.JPG 004.JPG 005.JPG 006.JPG 007.JPG 008.JPG 009.JPG
Thanks again for your comments and expertises..

Ok, now that finally looks Soviet!
Is the canvas from two merged parts? Or what happened there?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

If you look carefully at a couple of the front images, you CAN SEE a line across the whole painting, so it DOES look like somehow it’s two pieces of canvas lined together.....

Yeah, this one's not bad at all. Worth fixing up and framing, but don't spend too much, you won't ever be able to get your cost out of it.

A couple of art 'restoration' folks told me you can use saliva on a Q-tip to clean those clouds.....seems to work on smoke and dirt. I like the painting and the impressionist style.

if it's stitched, it's not very natural. It seems someone was stretching their own canvas and was short on material, so this work was intended as a sketch/ study from the beginning
