Aren't these the cutest thing ever!?

Solid brass and leather construction. They're about 3.5 inches long, maybe 4in?

They were cheap, and in good condition, so I bought them. Although they ARE miniature ones, I have actually seen (and do own) a pair which are even SMALLER this this!!

So chic. Bet they were designed to fit into a man's pocket.

I've seen miniature opera glasses like these being called children's or women's opera glasses. The glasses aimed at men tended to be MUCH larger.

They're so plain though. Wouldn't have much appeal to a woman.

They would have "appeal" to me whether plain or not.

I just had DH measure my "eye(s) span," and yes those opera glasses would work just fine for me. ;)

Shangas, you would laugh out loud if you saw the way I have to "collapse" (fold toward the middle) DH's binoculars so that I can see through both lenses at the same time.
