Featured Depression in Brown Antique Furniture Prices?

Well, you know, like those Mission chairs Brad posted, they were designed by Frank Loyd Wright so you kinda expect a big number or a couple of years ago, a small tea table once owned by Thomas Jefferson.
Those are historical pieces and different in many ways so it is expected they will fetch big numbers but, the small tea table that started this thread?
It's a nice example but not 57k nice.
Unless of course it was once owned by George Washington, at which point it was a steal!
It's always possible some people at the sale have info no one else does.

This doesnt look anything very special at all.
I dont mind brown furniture if it has a bit of ornateness to it but this is quite plain.
