age of brooch or necklace I think

hi all I know this is a bit banged up but was hoping for a possible age. tested as sterling it' missing something no visible marks green agate I believe possibly indian as per previous post 40mm long bit of detail in it I reckon chris

 

It is a lovely pendant, probably from Indonesia. Age 1980s-a couple of years ago.
Missing a bail (with mark), and needs some work. I like the scrollwork, and it will polish up nicely. You can buy pretty ready made bails to put on it. I'd look for Bali sterling bails, with a bit of matching filigree.
The stone is a replacement. I would take it out and put in a similar cabochon that fits. Gently push the bezel back in place. Put a cloth between the silver and whatever tool you use, to avoid scratches.
You can buy loose cabochons in Oz. I usually buy stones online from one of the many Jaipur (India) gem traders, I find them very reliable.
When you've cleaned and restored it, it will be a striking pendant.
