Featured Orrefors? Crystal vase etched woman

I found this today at my local thrift. Its signed on the bottom and it looks to be orrefors but there are other numbers and letters. Is this vsse by them? Has a etched nude woman on the front. Thanks for any info!

 

Yes this is Orrefors, the numbers are the production type and the letters the designer.

Thanks from what i can see after "orrefors" looks like a letter "L" then "B" then numbers "62" or it could read "L.1362" the last two look to be "cl"

 

ok just dug it out of the bookcase, the model number 1362 dates to 1934 and I believe the designer is Vicke Lindstrand.

 

the "cl" would be the engraver.

 

The engraver could be Christina Lundh. She is listed in my Orrefors book as an engraver, with the initials CL.....Both capitalized in my book. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

My ref book is Orrefors A Century of Swedish Glassmaking, Kerstin Werkman editor.

Not quite sure, but I know I'd like to have an Orrefors catalogue.

 

No, the book is in German, got it for Xmas in 1989 - it has all the Swedish glass factory production lines, dates, engravers, designers and not just Orrefors, all the other factories too. Don't pull it out much these days, but back then I dealt in Modern Glass quite a bit, and not just Swedish stuff!

The last 2 letters look like CI to me. Does that yield anything useful? Cool piece.

 

And it looks like CI to me also. That's why I mentioned my ref book so others could take a look if they have it, or find it on line.

The book clearly shows CL........not CI.
