Hypnos medal

Hi again, Does anyone know any information on this piece, It's a new medal or old?

Hmmm,no markings anywhere ? It certainly looks like gold. id guess 1960s,but thats just a guess.

 

Hypnos represents Sleep & is brother to Thanatos, Death. The decorative border is a ring of poppy heads, source of the soporific opium. This is a conventional representation, with the wings springing from the temples, making him easy to confuse with Medusa. Did not know he had become a fashion item, as seen in Vogue:

Define your terms. Not an antique, i.e., not at least 100 years old.

At the very latest, despite the archeological revival style bail. Suspect it is newer even than that.

 

I like it. I sleep a lot, so my kind of god. My guess is 1990s.
