Aurora Borealis Glass necklace or ?

I bought a few pieces of jewelry today. This necklace has that fishing line or whatever it's called going through it, well, I mean strung with that.

Any idea if these are auro borealis, they are heavy like glass and today in my car I pulled the necklace out of the bag and it shined hundreds of sparkly dots all over the inside of my car.
Any clues to the age or who probably made these...

Very 50s - early 60s. Monofilament, so probably glass, not crystal.

 

Agree with the 1950's-1960's dating and that these are glass.

Glass beads with aurora borealis (sometimes abbreviated as "AB").

Looks like a nice necklace. The round-ish beads are heavily faceted and those cones have a lovely amber color. Will probably be impossible to determine the maker if these were even associated with a particular maker. I can say that they look a bit above average for costume. I would have grabbed that set!

I bet it sparkles like crazy.

Hi Lucille, yes they sparkle like crazy. I was amazed when they did it in my car.

 

They were probably restrung, that is why they are on the nylon fishing line.

I agree with the 1950s-60s time period.
