Forward Crown Heart Wings in Garter Pin

    Hi,
    Striking out with this pin, thought Military - can find lots under Order of the Garter but not the same as this one. This is 2"L x 1 1/2"W.
    Any ideas appreciated.

    Reminds me a Scottish clan pin. Has belt, motto and crest.

    Wow ... lots of symbolism there. I can't help you identify it, but if my Google search is any indication, it will be a HUGE HIT with the "steam punk" crowd.

    "FORWARD" is the motto for the WWI US 340th Infantry Regiment but not the insignia, maybe its a "Sweetheart" badge.
