    Hello friends,
can you help me to define the country of origin and an approximate dating for this standing, dancing, Tara?
Seeing her in profile, she appears unbalanced backwards, I think deliberately created in this pose to simulate the act of dance,
in fact, despite this imbalance, it keeps itself perfectly upright without falling.
I see a lot of signs of oxidation, so presumably I think it's quite old.
I can't tell if it's bronze or brass.
    Its height is 29 cm.
    Metal is solid.
    The statue weighs 1.32 kg
    Thanks

Probably from Nepal, or Tibet. I am sure @Any Jewelry can tell you more.

I think she is Northern Indian, with that very Indian face. Looking at the base, I would date her to the late 19th-early 20th century. She is cast brass.

Vajrayana Buddhism is a school of Buddhism associated with the Himalayan region, but it developed in India, and spread from there to other parts of Asia.
It is just her pose, she isn't a dancing Tara.:)
