Woolworth Batteries AA

Have couple old woolworth batteries that came out of a 20's era gadget cane. I have been trying to find out if these are collectables. Any help would be appreciated

 

I cannot think they would have any value. But people collect some strange things!

Some are collected. I sold one with great graphics, was a while back -- think it had an Art Nouveau woman as part of the label.

Vintage batteries used to do pretty well on feebay until they started pulling listings. They don't seem to do as well now. Still some do OK. If you have any sign of leakage you may as well pitch it.

Oh boy, do they ever. Had me fooled, never would have guessed batteries were collectable!

 

They were meant to be discarded, so of course now someone collects them.

Just like the disposable Dixie Cup ice cream lids, from the 50s and 60s. You licked the ice cream off the lid and ditched it. I sold one for 285 dollars!!!! People collect the strangest things.

I heard somewhere that some people collect belly-button lint. Yes, disgusting! If they pay well, someone will reproduce it, shouldn’t be difficult using dryer lint or whatever.
