    if your intent is to keep i would remove the glass. Some areas look amateurish to me so it could be a hobbyists or students work.

    The auction description said that it had been reframed so I'm thinking it was put under glass when that was done.

    Someone should be able to date it from the Devoe label. All I know is that it isn't one of their early, early ones. Very eye catching. If I had to guess I'd think turn-ish of the (19th) century but could, of course, be later. Looks like an amateur work.
