I tested this for gold content with 10k gold acid, no change on scratch test so 10k or higher, haven't tested higher yet but at least 10k. No markings on this pendant, enameled cross thing, I don't know what it is called.
Is it a military pendant or something else ? I wonder what era it's from too.
    Any ideas ?

    Thank You

I believe it is a Catholic cross but not sure of the original time period.

More usually referred to as a Maltese Cross. This is probably from a charm bracelet.

Look up Sweetheart Jewelry. It may have been, as AF says, from a woman's charm bracelet or hung off a bar pin.

Bikers charm, very good Kristiaan. Bikers gang from the 30's or so, because no mark on it.

I think the appearance of the piece speaks of a one-off or a handful made by hand by a jeweler or crafter. The hanger isn’t centered, nor is the cross. So the maker wasn’t making enough to make any kind of fixtures or tooling, this one and maybe a few others were handcrafted, if it was made in an industrialized country. Beyond that, unless you find one identical with detailed provenance, all is speculation because the Maltese Cross is such a common symbol. If it was made in a 3rd world country, a large number may have been made by hand.

I think the bale (the round part) may be different content then the piece itself. It may be wise to test both.
