    Certainly looks like a 19th century Spanish genre scene.

    I'm not sure if the right portion of your painting that you posted with some writing & inverted plus regular, you are thinking is a signature, or if that's a signature in the LOWER LEFT CORNER???? IF in the LOWER LEFT, will need a MUCH closer image to try to check it out.....the OTHER two images of a potential signature I was able to enhance a bit........and not sure it makes sense, but what's underlined looks something like " J. Rurguer".....keep in mind that others may see it differently.......! I see a couple of letters above as well, but nothing that made sense......to me at least!

    I think it is a copy of a painting by one of the famous Spanish painters. Very nice one though.
    Of course I can't remember who painted the original, but if I remember correctly the original is in the Prado, Madrid.

    Hahaha, I was asking whether the original painting you were referring to was the one I just posted in the comments. I just thought that might be the one you meant because it's a bit similiar in composition to my one, and it's also in the Prado museum.

    @JamesonWest , Joaquin Capulino Jauregui (Spain 1879-1969) ?

    Don't think the signature works for Capulino Jáuregui who used both his surnames. Also isn't to my eye his style.

    I didn't get a notification for your replies, but thank you both! I tend to agree with Debora that the signatures don't really match though.

    Nor does the style. Capulino Jáuregui had a much lighter hand with both choice of subject and execution.
