Geometric pottery vase, raku? Greek? studio? signed?

    This is from a local auction where there were lots of studio pottery pieces. It's a fairly flat 7" tall geometric vase that I think is raku. The base is very dark and I'd been lamenting the fact it was unsigned ...but... when wet there are some streaks and I've been trying to decide if they are a signature or just streaks. Maybe ll_ _ la?? H_ _lu??? Any thoughts on a maker?

    I like that one. Can't be any help other than to say it looks Raku fired to me. It could be South African. You might check a company like The Fenix, or other South African ceramicists.
