But an ID would be great too of course ;) This vase measures 5 3/4" high and has no maker's mark. What would this pattern be called. "Moonstone" from Anchor Hocking is the closest I've come up with but I know that's not it. The circles are convex by the way. 20171114_113932_rsz.jpg

This is earlier than Anchor Hockings patterns.

Probably dates to the turn of the 20th century. Part of the EAPG era.
Need a picture of the bottom and a more straight on shot of the circles.

Looks similar to a pattern called Thousand Eye. But similar patterns were made by several companies.

The purpling is from the manganese found in the glass of that time period. Usually occurs from having sat in the sun. Although some people are intentionally turning glass with UV lights.
Purist EAPG collectors consider this to be defective glass, while others collect it because of the color.

Thank you so much clutteredcloset. I'm short on time at the moment but I'll get some better pictures in this thread when I get back later this evening. I thought I had something interesting but it didn't occur to me it may be turn of the 20th. How exciting :) Thanks again!

Ok, finally back to post a couple more pictures. I also looked in a pattern glass book and agree "Thousand Eye" is likely the closest match. Do these photos help garner anymore info? 20171115_211923_rsz.jpg 20171115_211957_rsz.jpg

The pattern/design is similar to Adams' Thousand Eye, (OMN Brilliant) but the ruffled top is not familiar to me as from the 1880s. Coulda been a whimsey, I s'pose. Does it perchance have a ground bottom rim.? That would make me lean more toward the 1880s date.

the Thousand Eye motif here (rows of disc with diamonds/pyramids) is consistent with Adams #130 Sensation and Richards & Hartley 'Thousand Eye'. Maybe an Adams whimsy as noted by Cherryhill. Comparing the bottom to that of the toothpick by Richards & Hartley is different as their disc-pyramid motif is repeated on the bottom.
per Price Guide to Pattern Glass New Brighton Glass Co. also made made similar forms.

I'm not sure the rim is ground... it's not as flat as I would expect and there's no sharp transition from the flat to the slope toward the center. I've included a couple more photos if that may help you to tell. Thanks!

Thanks for your help, everyone. TallCakes referred to a "Price Guide to Pattern Glass". Is that the book by Ruth Webb Lee? I'm always looking for new references. Also, excuse my ignorance but what does "OMN" stand for?
