Lladro copies

    Hi, this piece is almost identical to Lladro's 'Girl with her kittens' Figurine.

    I take it is a copy, or anyone have an other ideas.

    The last picture is the Lladro. Thanks

    The Lladro is finer. Have you checked NAO?

    Thanks John, I have. I have never seen Lladro or Nao with a felt underneath.

    I think it’s a deliberate copy. The pose is so close. Felt probably intended to make people think it’s real and someone added it for protection.

    Felt could easily been put on by the owner to protect their furniture from scratches.

    There's lots of copies, almost al made in Valencia. I bet yours is one of the ones so by M&S: they had little foil labels. Felt was added on.

    Hi,
    NEVER be afraid to remove felt. It can always be re glued or replaced.
