I'm going bonkers!!! I've checked the usual websites , eg: https://www.sterlingflatwarefashions.com/Patterns/Watson1.html , and can't find this example of a Watson/ Mechanics floral motif teaspoon. I 'm pretty sure it's one of the 2nd through 5th floral series but it is not pictured anywhere. Close, but no calyx. And Replacements Ltd needs to get a time-out because they've been posting the same WRONG spoon handle for every flowered variation there is, in multiples.
It looks like a hybrid calla lily/hibiscus/rose bud to me. :wideyed:
I may have to resort to "unknown and apparently very rare" in my description. Does anyone have a primary source for all the Watson floral series pattern names by chance? Thank you SO MUCH!

Here's what that named pattern looks like. These floral series IDs always give me fits! Flowers run amok!

It's not morning glory, wrong trumpet. Before I read what darkwing had sais, I thought hibiscus, and I'll stick with that.

The Watson florals, fruits, vegetables, etc. that were patented (and the majority weren't), were designed by either Eustace Crees and Chas. S. Court or Joseph E Straker, Jr., in 1902-04 (both series 1 & 2), they were very popular and would guess that new designs were added to the lines over the years. Believe yours is likely series 1 - the flower a Sego Lily...

    From a 1907 retailer's catalog:

There's at least one elusive reprint of a Watson catalog, but none online that I know of. I've just gathered way too many references on silver over the decades, books, PDFs, old ads, patents, etc., have access to some, but others are packed away, including an old external hard drive apparently stuffed into a box somewhere - usually note anything to do with spoons, so just dug through what I had available...
