Identifying ivory figurine

1. Hello, I'm glad I found this blog. I recently recieved from my mother an ancient ivory figurine, it comes from my grandmother home. I have not idea about it's age or origin (chinese, japanese...? It represents a woman seated on a ¿throne? There is a signature on the base. I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some light about this beautiful object. Thank you very much in advance Screenshot_20201111_224940.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224918.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224853.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224827.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224806.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224728.jpg Screenshot_20201111_224703.jpg Screenshot_20201111_215353.jpg

Looks like a Chinese resin piece that was posted here a number of months ago. Can you post a photo of the whole bottom of the base.

Subí una foto donde veo unas líneas que me sugieren could be ivory. May be tomorrow I can take better pictures. Any info about the signature, please? Thanks

Definitely has Schreger lines, so I vote ivory. @Any Jewelry Do you know this one? Looks like an empress to me but I'm sure the little bag she holds is symbolic of something.

There would have been a second figure to go with this Empress originally, the that being the Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
清大 = Great Qing (translate it right to left as 大清)

Bienvenido Javier. Si, es marfil, una emperatriz China.

Which means another vote for ivory.:) She is a beauty, and she represents an empress. The crown and the throne with a phoenix are all signs of a Chinese empress.
Typically these carvings came in pairs, the emperor and the empress. But with such a beautiful face, I don't mind forgetting about the guy.;)
That is a symbol I don't know, maybe it represents wealth, power? It is one of the parts where the parallel ivory lines are clearly seen, btw.

"I uploaded a photo where I see some lines that suggest to me that it could be ivory."

Thank you very much for your support, I always thought it was ivory, although I'm not an expert, but it's a good news that you agree. I'm more interested about dating it. The just translated "grand qing" marks at the base refers to a very large period in China history, I guess, could you please try to tell me something about. It's ancient but I don't know how long, It's even cracked on the base as you can see but I don't know if its related to i's age. Once more, thank you for your kind help. I love this place

15.
@Any Jewelry [/ USER] ¿Conoces esta?

It is a carving of a Qing empress, which doesn't mean she was carved during the Qing dynasty. In this case I think she could be just after the Qing dynasty. But this style is traditional, which means they have been carving these emperors and empresses in the same style for some time.
Let's wait what the others think.
The crack could also be due to the conditions it has been kept in. It is not a problem though.

Tan sereno y luminoso.
