Actually love this piece, kind of an alternate take on a bullfight. But I have no place where it works (at the moment) so was maybe going to list on Ebay, and need a few descriptors.

I easily found the artist Rein de Lege online. How would I describe the medium. Is it pencil and watercolor? Pastel?? Thanks!

Apparently he did a whole series of them. Called 'Bullfight, reverse.'

Awesome @Debora !! :) I tried searching "Rein de Lege Bullfight" and got zip. Did you see other versions or was it just text that referred to it? Could you post or PM me a link so I could follow up? Would be so helpful. Thank you!

Thank you, Debora. :) I don't have Instagram account but can use my daughters in a little while.

Still wondering how to describe the medium. Not acrylic for sure, and not a print, through a loop you can see indentations in the paper where his pencil or pen pressed in. Thinking maybe watercolor or pastel and pencil. Maybe will get more info about the medium once into the Instagram page. Thanks!

Hi there! Here is the Artist himself speaking!
Just stumble over this page/post, by change. The technic applied here is just pencil and acrylic paint. In this period I’ve made different series of the same subject. Different sequences of the reverse bullfight, always with an animal-audience. Some of these works are still available.

Here is a serie of 4 paintings from this period (acrylic on canvas, 50/50 cm.) Available.

Here can see, some of these “reverse bullfight-scenes” I’ve used in a recently created comic book, “Kladderatski” It’s available now
as ebook in Amazon. For more info: https://www.amazon.com/~/e/B08P8ZG627

Wow, just saw that the actual artist is here. How cool!

(I'm no longer getting notifications for some reason on Antiquers so missed it until today.)

Great information. I still own the piece. :)

Interesting to see a black and white illustration for the comic book. Best of luck. Very nice!
