Aren't neurological diseases fun? New eyeglasses can even add to enjoyment. My new ones were measured for during a weather downswing, so they overcorrect...everything. They're OK for driving a car, but indoors...phew. Let's just say I know what you mean about depth perception distoritions!

Hi and WELCOME, KC!! And absolutely, thank you for your service, as Komo said!!!! From what you said sounds like you'll be right at home here, and can't wait to see what you've collected as well!!!!:):):) BTW, we rant, we rave, we laugh and joke as well as dissecting antiques of all sorts!!!:smuggrin:

Great fun, especially after a sleepless neuralgia night. My esophagus decided to join in with a round of spasms, so I couldn't take any meds to alleviate the neuralgia (or the spasms). Why doesn't the body think of that?:banghead:
I forgot to add before, the 3dimensional 2dimensional inanimate objects can also move about.:hilarious: But only when I am more tired than usual. I take it in my stride, let them move, as long as I can sit down.

Thanks for such a w@rm welcome! Everyone! Sorry I haven’t been around, dealing with some not so nice problems....again. I will try to pop in and share more. Believe me, I’m sure I am just as crazed about “things” as most of you R! I hope U all have a good sense of humor, because if I don’t deal with life with humor, I don’t know what would happen?
The tragedy in Texas, last Sunday, really hit me hard. I knew some people that were from around there. I graduated HS in Eagle Pass, TX.
I’m prayin’ hard that people start getting a common cause to rally around, but our country sure seems divided! Enough o’ that..... one ray-o-hope, though~~I finally got my VA Disability Decision back, yesterday. Only took 5 years . But, they approved most of it, so maybe things will start turning around.. Thanks to EVERYONE for letting me join the party here. Just by your replies, I can tell we will be just like Peas & ‘s! ✌️

So happy for you on the VA decision. Our service men and women deserve everything that can make their lives better. You've given much to us.

Hopefully none of your friends were victims of the tragedy.

Congratulations. Those things can take ages, but I hope it will give you some peace of mind, one less battle to fight.
We do, one of the reasons I come here.:)

Welcome KC, looking forward to seeing your collection. Vets have it tough everywhere, you should see what Canada does. They don't even get a life pension and their benefits have been cut. Take care, life is generally better than the alternative.
