    Hi
    New to the group and need help. Does anyone know what this is. I've searched everywhere but can't find any information. All help very much welcome.

    Looks like a magnifier of some sort.

    Size,printed names on object,photo of both ends????

    its 8cm long. The gold coloured pieces move round and have measurement marks on them. There are a few names on it, these are:
    PICCOLO made in Denmark
    SCHEINER
    BLENDE DIAPHRAGMS
    It does fit to the eye but you cant see through it

    a Scheinerblende or Hartmannblende is a help in astro-photography to get a properly focused picture. this here seems to be part of a private telescope for the gentleman of good standing.
    normally three images that are vanishing and ending in one when the picture gets sharp.
